11-02-20 – JACOBSON ACTS AS PANELIST FOR “THE BUSINESS OF ESPORTS” AS PART OF THE 6TH ANNUAL BERKELEY LAW SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT CONFERENCE
(New York, NY) – Justin M. Jacobson recently provided insight on the “Business Of Esports” panel as part of the 6th Annual Berkeley Law Sports and Entertainment Conference hosted by the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology. In fact, Justin was joined by others including the Founder of NXT Up Esports, Luke Zelon. This panel explored the various revenue streams available in the esports industry and compared them to those provided to traditional sports franchises. It also discussed the evolution of esports and professional gaming, including the growth of sponsorship revenues, the scale of the live events and the future growth of entertainment focused activations such as live music concerts and movies in Fortnite.
